10 minutes of Ballyhegan dominance midway
through the second half saw them score 1-02, but an excellent score from John Toner but

Ballyhegan
0-08 Harps 1-06
Harps spirit and grit in the final minutes of this game
saw them collect another 2 points to put them into 3rd position in the league game, but
the game will be remember for an off the ball incident that saw Harpsman Damian Jordan in
Hospital with a broken Jaw..
the first score didn't come until the 14minute, and it was
a Harps Goal, John Toner finishing from close range. Both sides had numerous wides. In the
final few minutes Ballhegan led by a point but a spirited late rally with scores from
Gerard agnew, Paul Dynes & Stephen Druce left the Harps in front at the final whistle.

A much sharper Ogs
side defeated Harps Seniors yesterday in Abbey Park. Although it must be fair to say that
the scoreline definetly does not reflect the game as a whole. Harps played against the breeze in the first half and were trailing
1-6 to 0-06 at the break. Harps started the second half well, scoring 2 points to leave
the score 1-06 to 0-08 with 21mins remaining. minutes later Harps had a great chance for
goal when Ebbie toal put Paul Dynes through only for the Ogs keeper to pull of a fine
save.
A couple of points were exchanged and with 6 mins left the
scoreline read Harps 0-09 Ogs 1-09. Harps were then reduced to 14 men when Damian Jordan
(Harshly) got the line for a second bookable offense.
Pearse Ogs fitnes showed in the final quarter of the game
and 2 late goals left the Final score: Harps 0-10 Pearse Og 3-11.
Lotto: No Winner, 2, 7, 12, 22 - No Winner, next week
